In a little while

Walking alone in the corridors of our deemly lit apartment, I was struck by the number of people who have lighetd Christmas trees. In this part of the world people are scared to talk of Christmas. The elect to call the season "holidays". Instead of Merry Christmass the say happy holidays.
What went on in my mind was "do people know the real meaning of this season? This is the time of year when we celebrate the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. Indeed He was born in Bethlehem in a manger to save us from the burden of sin. I am not sure if people are celebrating Chritsmas for the sake of sharing gifts or for because of the joy that a saviour is born.
I want to wish all who read my blog a Merry Christmas.
